Visit Us at Both Our Locations!

We hope you will visit us at both of our locations, Fort Worden State Park and 1001 Water Street in downtown Port Townsend.

We have been careful to plan our public exhibit schedule based on the health and well-being of our volunteers, staff, and AmeriCorps. We will continue to reevaluate our capacity for additional public hours. In the meantime, our staff and AmeriCorps are continuing to lead education programs and public programs such as the Future of Oceans lecture series, maintain our Citizen Science Projects, participate in partner projects, and of course care for the aquarium life and systems.

We will post any updates to our schedule on this website and on our Facebook and Instagram pages.

At Fort Worden State Park
The Aquarium on the pier, and Museum and Gift Shop on the shore are open Saturday and Sunday, 12 - 4 p.m.

Winter Hours:
Both the Aquarium and Museum will be open Saturdays and Sundays through December 18. 
Both exhibits will be closed December 24 - 25, and December 31 - January 1.
The Museum will be open through the winter on an "Admission by Donation" basis, beginning January 7, 2023.
The Aquarium will remain closed until spring.

Admission to the Aquarium & Museum:
     $7 Adults
     $5 Youth (6-17)
     FREE for children (ages 5 and under)

PTMSC Members are FREE. Become a member.
Burke Museum members are free. Please show your membership card at the door.

Microscope Fridays at Flagship Landing
Every Friday, 12:00-3:00 p.m., come join in the fun and explore with microscopes! Zoom in on seaweed,  sand, feathers and shells, or bring something of your own (nothing wet, please). 

Bull Kelp: Our Remarkable Underwater Forests
Gallery at Flagship Landing, Friday-Sunday from 12-3 p.m.
This family friendly traveling exhibit explores the vital worlds of kelp forests just off our shores. 
The exhibit is at the gallery November 25 through February 26.
Admission is free. Donations are very appreciated!
