Aquarium Docent Training Part A

Location: Aquarium on the Pier
Date: May 13, 2019

You don't have to be a scientist, you just have to enjoy sharing your enthusiasm with visitors of all ages!

As a volunteer docent you will:

  • encourage curiosity and help our visitors learn about the Salish Sea
  • connect visitors to Citizen Science projects that make a difference
  • share a wealth of resources and events that inspire conservation

The PTMSC Aquarium is alive with touchable tide pools and tanks that offer close-up interactions with life in our nearshore habitats. We offer interactive activities that underscore our message of conservation as a cooperative human effort.

You can help us in our mission to Inspire Conservation of the Salish Sea by becoming an Aquarium Volunteer Docent.

Our two part training will be held on:

May 13th, 3-6 pm:  Part A
May 20th, 3-6 pm:  Part B
