International Coastal Clean-Up
Sat., Sept. 16 | 9 am - 1 pm
Port Townsend Marine Science Center

On Sat., Sept. 16, volunteers from around the world will work together to keep our oceans and the life in them as healthy and diverse as possible. As the only site on the eastern side of the Olympic Peninsula, this is great opportunity to be part of this international effort.

Volunteers can choose from among several area beaches: Fort Worden State Park, Fort Flagler State Park, Fort Townsend State Park, Railroad Beach, Chetzemoka Park and North Beach.

Check-in on the day of the event will be under the red and white striped tent outside the front door of the PTMSC Natural History Exhibit Building (Orca Exhibit) at Fort Worden State Park. We'll provide directions, trash bags, and gloves, and weigh your accomplishments when you return from cleaning.  Every filled trash bag makes a difference!

To register to clean up the beach, link directly to: Port Townsend Area Beaches.
