The Port Townsend Marine Science Center serves our mission to inspire conservation of the Salish Sea by focusing in three areas: lifelong education programs, citizen science research, and engaging visitor experiences in our aquarium which features touch tanks and natural history exhibitions featuring an adult Orca skeleton. Operating as a 501(c)(3) non-profit located in the Fort Worden State Park, with a $600,000 operating budget, 13 staff, and 200 plus volunteers, the Port Townsend Marine Science Center serves 24,000 people annually.

The Port Townsend Marine Science Center (PTMSC) is seeking four Environmental Educator AmeriCorps Members to join our team dedicated to conserving the Salish Sea.
These are full-time 10 ½ month positions starting October 1, 2020.
These stipend-supported positions are sponsored by the Washington Service Corps AmeriCorps program.
These positions are contingent upon funding.
