*This event has been POSTPONED! The ground is still quite solid from the recent cold weather, making digging into it very difficult!  We are hoping to reschedule sometime in the upcoming weeks. Keep an eye on our website and social media for the new date!

Postponed – MLK Day beachgrass pull

Help restore the Salish Sea shoreline habitat for native plants and animals by pulling out invasive beachgrass.

All ages are welcome!

Meet at the PTMSC Museum portico in Fort Worden State Park.

Bring work gloves if you want them, and make sure to dress for the weather!
We have limited tools, so please bring your own shovels of pitchforks if you have them.
Snacks will be provided!

PTMSC is partnering with Friends of Fort Worden, the Washington Native Plant Society, Washington Service Corps and Washington State Parks for this event.

RSVPs are appreciated! Go to bit.ly/MLK2024_RSVP.
