Electronics – explore and repair

Thursday, June 20, 2024
3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

An electronics exploration and repair workshop!

Do you have an electronic item that needs repair? Or perhaps you’ve always wanted to take your electronics apart to explore what’s inside or clean them up, but you’ve been apprehensive?

We’ll have the space, tools, and volunteer expertise to help you do this. If you don’t have your own machine to take apart, we’ve got extras that will be available to explore freely!

For this workshop, you will be at the helm of repairing/exploring your belongings. We will have volunteers to help guide you in finding the resources you’ll need, answer questions, and support you with the skills that may be necessary to complete your goal/repair.

Note—this is a drop-in workshop so feel free to come and go as you please, but do allow yourself enough time to complete the project you are working on. Electronics that would be appropriate to bring are items like video game consoles, laptops, printers, etc.

PTMSC welcomes participants ages 12 and up to this event. For participants under the age of 18, PTMSC requires emergency contact information and this completed liability waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
