Spying on Whales: The Past, Present, and Future of Earth’s Most Awesome Creatures
Nick Pyenson
Written by a marine mammal fossil curator of the Smithsonian, this book is a deep dive (pun intended) into the wonderful world of whales. Starting on land, we discover how whales ended up in the sea. This title explores their lives from the fossil record to the living, breathing beings we have today. What have whales been doing for the past 50 million years, what are they doing now, and how will human impact affect their lives moving forward?
- Food & Drinks: Grab a treat and a drink from Aldrich’s, then make your way upstairs.
