This memoir is a display of perseverance and determination. After facing many challenges on the road to her degree, Jasmin decided to follow. a “less traditional” path to her future as a marine biologist. These challenges led to her advocating for more than just sharks. As a co-founder of Minorities in Shark Science, she continues to pave the way for others.
