Visitor center & store

Come visit our location in downtown Port Townsend, in the historic Flagship Landing building at 1001 Water St.

Flagship Landing is the home of our Visitor Center and Store, and the Gallery. Visit the Gallery page to learn what is currently showing, and what other activities we’re offering while you’re here. And just a block away you’ll find the Whale on the Wharf, a fully articulated, 42′ gray whale!

While you’re in Port Townsend, make sure to visit our Museum and gift shop at Fort Worden State Park! The Aquarium is closed for the winter.

The Visitor Center

The center features an exhibit about the Salish Sea, acknowledges the Coast Salish Peoples who have always lived here, and highlights our work and the collaborations we’re part of to restore and conserve this beautiful and complex watershed upon which we all depend.

The Store

Come see the wonderful selection of books, puzzles, and notebooks, logo gear, adventure supplies for explorers of all ages, as well as gift items from local makers and unique ornaments made by PTMSC volunteers! Our store staff works hard to provide intriguing, educational and quality items, while also intentionally reducing the use of plastic and our carbon footprint. Check it out, in person and via Instagram!
